Our Story

More than 20 years in the making!

Background

Morning Glory Early Learning Center LLC is a private for-profit educational program and is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Our school opened in May 1991 in a converted residential building, serving children age six (6) weeks through school aged.

Philosophy

Our philosophy at Morning Glory supports the belief that parents are the primary educators of their children. We recognize the importance of developing a strong partnership between families and teachers. This partnership will help ensure that children's learning and developmental needs are met. We provide a curriculum rich in opportunities to explore, create and learn. Our program is responsive to the children and families we serve. We believe that parents and family members enhance our program and bridge the gap between home and school. The goal of both families and teachers is to ensure that children will succeed in school and life.

"NAEYC strives to raise the quality of education for all children from birth through age eight. Accreditation systems are a major part of NAEYC's efforts to improve early childhood education; they allow programs to provide the best learning experiences for young children and their educators by meeting national standards of quality." -- naeyc.org

We are an NAEYC Accredited Center!

Parents and staff are asked to provide the center with feedback on our program through the annual NAEYC family and staff surveys. Results are shared with parents, staff, NAEYC, and others as needed. We use this information to assist in setting goals for program improvements and quality.
